For this project, I created an event poster for my 10-year high school reunion, focusing on crafting a visually engaging design that captured the nostalgic and celebratory atmosphere of the occasion. The poster incorporated elements of my high school’s colors and mascot, creating a strong connection to our shared memories while also reflecting the passage of time. I used bold typography to emphasize key details such as the event date, location, and a call-to-action to RSVP, ensuring all information was both clear and attention-grabbing. The overall design aimed to evoke a sense of excitement and anticipation, drawing past classmates back to celebrate the milestone.

In terms of layout, I chose a dynamic composition with a balance of imagery and text to capture the attention of potential attendees. The use of a large, central image of a nostalgic school landmark set the tone, with subtle design elements like textures and patterns that mirrored the high school experience. The poster also featured the reunion's theme and event details in a way that made them easy to read, ensuring the audience could quickly understand the event's significance and how to get involved.
